We No Longer Wanted to Own a House

My husband and I were married ten years ago. One of the first things we did was buy a house. We thought that we wanted to be homeowners, not realizing that it is not all its cracked up to be. We could only afford a fixer upper, and it was pure misery living there since everything cost so much money to fix. When we decided to call it quits on the house, we both knew we did not want to ever own a house again. We were looking at apartments when he told me to click here. He pointed to a picture of a really nice picture of flowers and a swimming pool, and we both liked what we saw.

We decided to look at the floor plans, and we both liked The Rhapsody floor plan the best. It has two bedrooms and two baths, which is perfect for us. Though we don’t have kids yet, we are hoping to start our family in the very near future. We did not want to get settled into a one bedroom apartment only to have to move in the next year or so. We would rather have too much room at first.

The layout is really nice. Our bedroom opens into a large bathroom, which then opens into a huge closet. The closet is almost as big as the bathroom! In the middle of the apartment is the living space as well as the dining space, and that opens up into the kitchen. Now, my favorite part is next, because it is a full size laundry room. There is a washer and dryer, plus room for shelves or even a small table to fold things on. The spare bedroom and bath is on the other side of the living room. This is what we should have done from the very beginning of our marriage!
